The LRC Symposium "Building Better Employment Relations" took place on Wednesday, 23rd February, 2011, in the Croke Park Conference Centre. Our guest speaker, Mr. Christian Majgaard, spoke on "People and Opportunities in the Smart Economy". Two major enterprise-based research studies were also presented – "Human Resources in a Recession – Managing and Representing People at Work in Ireland" by Prof. Bill Roche and Prof. Paul Teague and "Conflict Management Systems in Subsidiaries of Non-union Multinational Organisations located in the Republic of Ireland" by Liam Doherty and Paul Teague.
